Global Vision/TaxPayers' Alliance Campaign
Global Vision has joined forces with the TaxPayers’ Alliance to campaign together to raise public awareness of the impact of Britain’s current relationship with the European Union. Bringing together Global Vision’s experience of European issues and aim of a looser relationship with the EU with the TaxPayers’ Alliance research and campaigning expertise, the groups aim to raise the profile of the EU as an issue, inform people of the impact the EU has on their day to day lives and campaign for a better deal for Britain.
The TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA) was founded in 2004 and is a non-partisan, grassroots campaign for lower taxes and better government. With over 20,000 supporters and 2,500 activists around the country and a skilled team of researchers and campaigners at offices in Birmingham and London, the TPA has the highest media profile of any campaign group, charity or think-tank in the UK and was named ‘Pressure Group of the Year’ at the end of 2008. Dealing with a wide range of issues from economic policy and government structure to waste and mismanagement, the TPA is well known for its vocal defence of taxpayers’ interests.
