The Sun, 6th February 2008Curb EU say 3 in 4 Three out of four voters think Britain should loosen ties with the EU - or pull out all together. Most want links restricted to free trade and helping each other in common areas. But they want meddling in political, economic and defence issues to stop. A whopping 74 per cent want a vote on the revived EU constitution. Think-tank Global Vision said its poll showed Brits ARE interested in Europe. Director Ruth Lea said: "Europe does matter. It influences everything from immigration to crime to defence."
